The 80-81 team went 21-13, including 10-6 in the KIAC.  Went 12-2 at home including a perfect 8-0 in KIAC.  They averaged 77-7 ppg without the three-point line.  Defeated Berea in KIAC first round and then fell to Cumberland (now Cumberlands) in the Semifinals. They were the last basketball team that beat neighbor NKU on February 14, 1981 (52-61).
