Millie and Tom Faust
These two individuals have been extremely instrumental in the success of athletics at Thomas More College. Tom and Millie Faust were original members of the Booster Club and sent their son Dave to Thomas More from 1977-81. As a result of the fundraising efforts of the Booster Club, the Department of Athletics at Thomas More has been able to achieve more and provide more opportunities for the athletes.
Two of the most noteworthy contributions that have come about because of the Booster Club have been the building and opening of Connor Convocation Center in 1989 and the installation of a campus-wide phone mail system in the summer of 2001. The boosters have also made several donations to specific departments and teams within Thomas More College.
Millie Faust has continued her association with the Booster Club for over 20 years as a volunteer at bingo on Friday nights. Even after the passing of her husband and the graduation of her son, Millie has served as the treasurer and bookkeeper of the boosters. In addition to her work on behalf of Thomas More, she has also found time to volunteer at the animal shelter in Campbell County.
A constant at many athletic events and bingo at Thomas More over the years, Millie is knowledgeable about many things. She also is retired from the banking business, having worked for Fifth Third Bank for many years. Millie is a great citizen and supporter of not only Thomas More, but also of many affairs. She also volunteers her time at local high schools, including St. Henry, Covington Catholic and Newport Central Catholic.
