Pat Berndsen (’08)

Berndsen was a two-time All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) selection playing baseball at Thomas More. 

At the time of his induction, Berndsen ranked in several categories in the Thomas More baseball record book. He held the Thomas More career record for games started with 43 and innings pitched with 262.1 innings.  Berndsen also ranked in the top-10 in six other career pitching categories as he was second in strikeouts with 207, fourth in complete games with 15, fourth in wins with 22, seventh in appearances with 46, 10th in earned run average at 3.75, and 10th in shutouts with one.  He also held the single-season record for complete games with nine, while he was third in games started in a season with 12 and innings pitched in a season at 80.2.  At the plate, Berndsen had 19 career doubles, three triples, four home runs and 58 runs batted-in.
