Box Score (FRANKLIN, Ind.) – The Thomas More College women's lacrosse team fell, 17-9, today (Saturday, March 21, 2015) in an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) match in Franklin, Indiana.
With the loss, the Saints fall to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the ORLC. With the win, the Grizzlies improve to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in the ORLC.
Sophomore Tori Liles (Tollesboro, Ky./Lewis County) led the Saints' attack as she scored a school record five goals. Sophomore Christy Smith (Washington Courthouse, Ohio/Washington) added two goals, while freshman Maria Cuthrell (Alexandria, Ky./Covington Latin) and freshman Abby Stadtmiller (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) each had one goal in the match.
Freshman Mollie Mosley (St. Bernard, Ohio/McAuley) recorded four saves.
Thomas More returns to action next Saturday (March 28) when it travels to Waynesburg, Pennsylvania to play Waynesburg University at 3 p.m.
