Women’s Lacrosse falls to Tiffin in G-MAC Quarterfinals

(TIFFIN, OH) – The Thomas More University women's lacrosse team fell to Tiffin in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Quarterfinals on Saturday (April 25) by a score of 24-9. The Saints finish the 2026 season with a 4-13 overall record and a 3-5 conference record.
 

• Sophomore Elina Emmons (Fairfield, OH / Fairfield) scored the first goal for the Saints with an assist from sophomore Lauren Ferrier (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley) at the 12:55 mark in the first quarter.
• Junior Anna Wells (West Chester, OH / Lakota West) opened the second quarter with a goal before junior Alex Nunn (Loveland, OH / Loveland) scored a minute and a half later.
• Sophomore Jadyn Carle (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley) scored a goal with an assist from Elina Emmons about halfway through the third quarter.
• Elina Emmons scored her second goal of the game on a man-up situation with an assist from Alex Nunn.
• Alex Nunn had her own man-up goal as the fourth quarter started.
• Elina Emmons had another man-up goal with 13:05 remaining with an assist from freshman Payton Davis (Springboro, OH / Springboro) before scoring her fourth goal at the 8:41 mark.
• Payton Davis scored the final goal for the Saints at the 5:31 mark.

 

• Elina Emmons had four goals and an assist. She had a team-high 6 shots.
• Alex Nunn had two goals and two assists.
• Jadyn Carle, Payton Davis, and Anna Wells each scored a goal. Payton Davis added an assist. Jadyn Carle had a team-high 4 ground balls. Anna Wells had five draw controls.
