(INDIANAPOLIS, IN.) – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced their 2026 Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Preseason Poll this week, and Thomas More was picked to finish 4th with 52 points.
This will be the Saints third season in the G-MAC and NCAA Division II, following a 5-14 (4-4) campaign last season that saw the Saints reach the conference semifinals.
It will be head coach
Pat Thatcher's 5th season at the helm of the program. Thatcher holds a record of 19-51 as the held coach of the Saints.
Ashland sits at the top of the preseason poll, with 7 first place votes and 71 total points. Findlay follows in second with two first place votes (66 points), Walsh in third (58 points), the Saints in fourth (52 points), Tiffin follows in fifth (46 points), Malone in sixth (40 points), Lake Erie in seventh (28 points), Northwood in eighth (27points), and Ursulin rounds the group out in ninth (17 points).
Thomas More opens the season at Republic Bank Field on February 18 against Capital beginning at 4:00 pm ET.
