Nunn and Pierani Both Record Four Goals in Victory Over Storm

(PAINESVILLE, OH) - The Thomas More women's lacrosse team defeated the Lake Erie Storm on Thursday (April, 17th) by a final score of 13 to 7. The Saints improve to an overall record of 3-13 and a G-MAC record of 3-4.


How they scored
  • Sophomore Alex Nunn (Loveland, OH / Loveland) scored the first two goals of the game to put the Saints in front 2-0.
  • First year Lauren Ferrier (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley) and sophomore Anna Wells (West Chester, OH / Lakota West) responded to a Lake Erie goal, with back to back unassisted goals to make it 4 to 1.
  • After two Lake Erie goals, senior Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, OH / Lebanon) found the back of the net to make it a 5 to 3 game.
  • Lake Erie added another goal to make it a one goal game.
  • Alex Nunn, Anna Wells and junior Meg Pierani (Lawrenceburg, IN / Mercy McAuley) scored three straight goals to push the Saint lead to 4.
