Thirteen Different Saints Score in Regular Season Finale Win Over Ursuline

(PEPPER PIKE, OH) - The Thomas More women's lacrosse team defeated the Ursuline Arrows on Friday (April, 18th) by a final score of 24 to 3. The Saints finish the regular season with an overall record of 4-13 and a G-MAC record of 4-4.


How they scored
  • Thomas More sprinted out to a 4-0 lead with goals from sophomore Alex Nunn (Loveland, OH / Loveland), two from first year Lauren Ferrier (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley), and junior Meg Pierani (Lawrenceburg, IN / Mercy McAuley). Assists came from Alex Nunn and senior Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, OH / Lebanon).
  • Thomas More added two more goals with Lauren Ferrier and sophomore Alexis Denman (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley) both scoring off assists from Gracey Robinson.
  • Sophomore Kristina Cutsinger (Chicago, IL / Center Grove) made it a 7-0 game with her first career goal.
  • Ursuline score their first goal of the game to make it 7 to 1.
  • Sophomore Alyssa Miller (Cincinnati, OH / Oak Hills) scored, and Alex Nunn followed with back to back unassisted goals to make it a 10 to 1 game.
  • First year Jadyn Carle (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley) scored her first career goal to end the first quarter with the score 11 to 1.
  • Sophomore Anna Wells (West Chester, OH / Lakota West) scored off another Gracey Robinson assist, Ursuline followed with a goal and the score sat at 12 to 2.
  • First year Elina Emmons (Fairfield, OH / Fairfield) and Alyssa Miller both scored goals (Nunn with an assist) to send us to halftime with a 14 to 2 lead.
  • Meg Pierani scored off an Alexis Denman assist, and Anna Wells added a goal to open the second half for the Saints.
  • First year Hannah Scheland (Cincinnati, OH / Seton) scored her first career goal off an assist from Gracey Robinson to make it 17 to 2.
  • After two more Saint goals, senior Eva Kinwel scored her first goal of the day to end the third quarter with the score 20 to 2.
  • First years Livian Randolph (Fairfield, OH / Fairfield) and Bella Gorczyk (Fairfield, OH / Fairfield) scored back to back for their first career goals to extend the Saints lead.
  • Thomas More goes on to win by a score of 24 to 3.

  • Alex Nunn led the Saints with 6 points on the day (3 goals, 3 assists). She also broke the single game program record for draw controls with 15 to go with 3 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers.
  • Gracey Robinson posted a team high 5 assists in the contest.
