(BEREA, KY.) – The Thomas More University Men's Track and Field team traveled down I-75 to compete at the Landon Bond Classic on Saturday, March 29th. The Saints found success in both running and field events.

- Sophomore Carter Engle (Independence, KY./Holy Cross) won the 5k race with a time of 16:38 and earned a new personal best in the 1500 meter run in 4:24.
- Sophomore Carson Oldham (Flemingsburg, KY./Fleming County) earned new personal bests in the Hammer Throw (45.65m, 6th place) and Shot Put (13.48 m, 5th).
- Sophomore Michael Weller (Villa Hills, KY./Holy Cross) earned a new personal best in Shot Put (11.21 m, 19th).
- Sophomore Montrell Henderson (Folkston, GA./Charlton County/Northern Kentucky) earned a new personal best in the 100 meter run (24th, 11.71).
- First-year Dawson Benjamin (Hebron, KY./Connor) raced the 1500 and achieved a personal record 4:12.90 with a third place finish in the 800 meter run of 2:00.
- Senior Gregory Woodard (Fishersville, VA./Wilson Memorial/Mary Baldwin) ran a 10.99 100 meter for 2nd place and had a 22.32 finish for 3rd place in the 200 meter run.
- First-Year Keegan Mehr (Brookville, OH./Brookville) earned 8th place in the 200 meter run (22.72), and 5th place in the 400 meter dash (51.77).
- Senior Nick Lanter (Cincinnati, OH./La Salle) earned 6th place in the 1500 with a 4:19 finish.
- First-year Andrew Witherington (Lexington, KY./Tates Creek) earned 4th in the 400 m hurdles with a 1:00 finish.
- 4x100 meter relay of Johnson, Warner, Mehr, Woodard earned 2nd place with a 43.70 finish.
- Freshman Jordan Houston (Cincinnati, OH./Princeton) earned 2nd place in the Long Jump crossing the 6.16 meter mark.
- The mixed 4x400 meter relay team of Klavon, Benjamin, Witherington, and Hasler won the event as well.

The Saints will reverse direction and travel north to Wilmington, OH next weekend to face familiar competition in the Jenna Strong Invitational on Saturday, April 5th.
