Men's Track & Field Close Out Season at the G-MAC Championships

(ASHLAND, Ohio)-Thomas More University's men's track and field team competed at the G-MAC Outdoor Championships this week. The Saints placed 11th overall.

Sophomore Carter Engle (Independence, KY./Holy Cross) placed 22nd with a time of 33:03.23 in the 10,000-meter run.
Sophomore Carson Oldham (Flemingsburg, Ky./Fleming County) came in 27th with a throw of 39.95 meters in the hammer throw.
In the javelin throw, sophomore David Warner (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli) placed 18th with a throw of 39.13 meters.
In the shot put, Carson Oldham came in 22nd (13.29 meters), first year Xavier Cambell (Hebron, Ky./Beechwood) placed 25th (13.06 meters), and sophomore Michael Weller (Villia Hills, Ky./Holy Cross) came in 31st (11.96 meters).
First year Jordan Houston (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton) placed 18th in the long jump with a jump of 6.14 meters.
In discuss throw, Carson Oldham placed 12th (44.69 meters) and Xavier Campbell came in 29th (36.69 meters).
The 4x100 meter relay team came in sixth with a time of 42.92 (senior Gregory Woodard (Fishersville, VA./Wilson Memorial/Mary Baldwin), sophomore Marcus Johnson (Cincinnati, Ohio/West Clermont), first-Year Keegan Mehr (Brookville, OH./Brookville), and first-year Andrew Witherington (Lexington, KY./Tates Creek) )
In the 5000-meter run, first year Noah Miller (Union, Ky./Cooper) placed 24th (15:34.35), senior Nick Lanter (Cincinnati, OH./La Salle) placed 28th (15:48.97), and Carter Engle placed 32nd (16:12.84).
The 4x400 meter relay team placed 10th with a time of 3:25.20 (Keegan Mehr, Andrew Witherington, senior Kai Ellison (Independence, Ky./Scott), and Dawson Benjamin ).

The Saints return next season in 2025-26.
