(Cincinnati, OH) Thomas More University's men's track and field team placed 2nd at the MSJ College Preview hosted by Mt. Saint Joseph University (Dec. 6) with a team score of 147.

· The 5k was dominated by the Saints: first-year Judah Blair (Richmond, KY/Madison Central), junior Carter Engle (Independence, KY/Holy Cross), and first-year Phenix Bryant (Hebron, KY/Conner) placed 1, 2, and 3 respectively, with PRs of 16:46.16, 16:46.93, and 17:24.34
· First year Wyatt Emmick (Lewisport, KY/Hancock County) placed 4th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.95
· Senior Marcus Johnson (Cincinnati, OH/West Clermont/Hocking) placed 6th in the 60m dash with a time of 7.02
· The DMR won 1st place, ran by first-year Grayson Dye (Crittenden, KY/Walton Verona), first-year Griffin Hill (Cold Spring, KY/Bishop Brossart), sophomore Lucas Toro (Florence, KY/Calvary Christian), and senior Jude Theriot (Independence, KY/Simon Kenton) with a time of 11:32.14
· 4x200 "B" team placed 4th with a time of 1:39.34
· First-year Nick Long (Southgate, KY/Bellevue) placed 4th in the mile, running 4:57.2
· Sophomore Andrew Witherington (Lexington, KY/Tates Creek) placed 1st in the 400m dash and with a time of 53.02
· The 800 runners ran strong, led in 2nd place by senior Jude Theriot (Independence, KY/Simon Kenton) with a time of 2:06.07, Junior David Warner (Indianapolis, IN/Roncalli) taking 4th with a time of 2:08.11, followed close behind by first-year Griffin Hill (Cold Spring, KY/Bishop Brossart) in 5th with a time of 2:09.34
· The 3k was once again dominated by the saints, led by first-year Grayson Dye (Crittenden, KY/Walton Verona) in 1st with a time of 9:36.34, followed closely by first-year Judah Blair (Richmond, KY/Madison Central and junior Carter Engle (Independence, KY/Holy Cross) in 2nd and 3rd with times of 9:43.48 and 9:49.75, respectively
· 4x400 "C" team placed 3rd with a time of 3:44.43
· First-year Nazir Metts (Maysville, KY/Mason County) placed 4th in the high jump at 1.80m
· First-year Jase Harmon (Fort Wayne, IN/Norwell) placed 6th in the long jump at 6.35m
· Junior Carson Oldham (Fleming, KY/Fleming County) placed 3rd and pr'd in shot put at 15.47, as well as 4th place and a pr in the weight throw at 15.65

After a brief pause for the holiday season - while still training of course - the Saints will continue their indoor season at the Centre First Chance on Jan. 24 at Centre College in Danville, Ky.
