Men's Track & Field Place Third at the Jenna Strong Invitational

(WILMINGTON, Ohio)-Thomas More University's men's track and field team placed third at the Jenna Strong Invitational on Saturday (April 5).

Sophomore Marcus Johnson (Cincinnati, Ohio/West Clermont) placed fifth at the 100-meters with a time of 11.35.
Freshman Jordan Houston (Cincinnati, OH./Princeton) came in third in the 110-meter hurdle with a time of 16.02.
In the 200-meters, senior Gregory Woodard (Fishersville, VA./Wilson Memorial/Mary Baldwin) came in second with a time of 23.12.
First-Year Keegan Mehr (Brookville, OH./Brookville) came in fourth in the 200-meters with a time of 23.30.
Junior Elliot Warner (Campbell County, Ky./Campbell County) ran a time of 23.57 in the 200-meters to place seventh.
Marcus Johnson followed in eighth in the 200-meters with a time of 23.59.
Jordan Houston came in 12th with a time of 24.15 in the 200-meters.
Sophomore Judson Lawrie (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli) placed 14th in the 200-meters with a time of 24.34.
Keegan Mehr won the 400-meters with a time of 50.90.
Senior Kai Ellison (Independence, Ky./Scott) placed eighth in the 400-meters with a time of 54.05.
First year Richard Menke (London, Ohio/London) came in 17th in the 400-meters with a time of 56.43.
In the 400-meter hurdles, first-year Andrew Witherington (Lexington, KY./Tates Creek) came in fourth with a time of 1:00.58.
First-year Dawson Benjamin (Hebron, KY./Connor) came in second in the 800-meters with a time of 1:58.26 to break the program's record.
First year Lucas Toro (Florence, Ky./Calvary) placed 11th in the 800-meters with a time of 2:03.74.
In the 1500-meters, Noah Miller placed 12th with a time of 4:11.82.
Junior Jude Theriot (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) came in 17th in the 1500-meters with a time of 4:19.41.
Sophomore Carter Engle (Independence, KY./Holy Cross) came in second in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 33:47.09.
Senior Nick Lanter (Cincinnati, OH./La Salle) placed third with a time of 34:06.44 in the 10,000-meter run.
Sophomore Carson Oldham (Flemingsburg, Ky./Fleming County) placed 10th in the discus throw with a throw of 36.31 meters and 11th in the hammer throw with a throw of 42.74 meters.
Keegan Mehr placed seventh in the high jump with a jump of 1.68 meters.
Jordan Houston placed fourth in the long jump with a jump of 5.72 meters.
First year Xavier Campbell (Hebron, Ky./Beechwood) came in the 15th in the shot put with a throw of 11.42 meters.
In the 4x400-meter relay that consisted of Keegan Mehr, Jude Lawrie, Andrew Witherington, and Elliot Warner the team placed second with a time of 3:31.12.
In the 4x800-meter relay, Dawson Benjamin, Jude Theriot, Kai Ellison, and Nick Lanter, the team placed second with a time of 8:09.50 to break the program's record.

The Saints return April 12 at the NKU Invitational in Alexandria, Ky. at Bishop Brossart.
