(GREENWOOD, IN) – The College Sports Communicators announced their 2024 Men's and Women's At-Large Academic All-District Teams Tuesday afternoon and the women's lacrosse program was represented by sophomores Sarah Metz (Middletown, OH / Little Miami), and Kaylynn Mitchell (Fairfield, OH / Fairfield), junior Eva Kinwel (Arnhem, Netherlands / Beekdal Lyceum), and senior Dani Carle (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley).
To be nominated, the student-athlete must be a sophomore both academically and athletically. They must have competed in 90% of the institution's games/contests/sets played or must start in at least 66% of the games/contests/sets. The student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Graduate students must have a minimum of a 3.50 for both their graduate program GPA and their undergraduate GPA.
Sarah Metz is an Accounting major with a GPA of 3.73. She appeared and started in 16 games, recording 5 goals, 8 assists, and 12 shots on goal on the season.
Kaylynn Mitchell is a Nursing major with a GPA of 3.70. She appeared in 18 games, starting in 14 for the Saints. She recorded 1 goal, 9 ground balls and 8 caused turnovers on the season.
Eva Kinwel is a Biology major with a 3.74 GPA. She appeared and started in 18 games for the Saints. She recorded 2 goals, 2 assists, 40 ground balls and 23 caused turnovers on the year.
Dani Carle is an Elementary Education major with a GPA of 3.69. She appeared and started in 18 games for the Saints. She recorded 1 goal, 23 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers on the year.
