#10 Georgetown Defeat Women's Lacrosse 17-4

(GEORGETOWN, Ky.)-Thomas More University women's lacrosse team fell to #10 Georgetown on Saturday (April 9) 17-4. The Saints overall record falls to 4-10 and 0-4 in conference. 

• Sophomore Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) recorded two shots on goal.
• First year Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) had one shot on goal.
• First year Eva Kinwel (Arnhem, Netherlands/Beekdal Lyceum) had two shots.
• Sophomore Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) tallied five shots with four on goal and had two goals.
• Junior Faith Smiddy (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) recorded eight shots with five on goal and scored on goal.
• Senior Katie Rice (Ft. Mitchell, Ky./Mt. Notre Dame Academy) scored one goal.
• Senior Kennedy Yurt (Louisville, Ky.Mercy) made seven saves.

The Saints return to the field on Wednesday (April 13) against Marian at 5:00 pm ET in Indianapolis, Ind.
