Box Score Crestview Hills, Ky. - The women's lacrosse program at Thomas More defeated the Gray wolves of Lourdes University by a 13-9 margin. With the win the Saints earn their first win since the 2019 season and the first win at home since 2018. Head coach Pat Thatcher also picks up his first collegiate coaching victory as the team improves to 1-3 on the season.
- Sophomore Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) led the way on the offensive side by collecting four goals and also snagged five ground balls.
- Junior Faith Smiddy (West Chester, Ohio / Lakota West) was the second leading goal scorer with three goals on five shots.
- Sophomore Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky. / Mercy) secured two goals for the Saints while dishing out one assist in the win.
- First-year Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) continues her early success as the first-year notched two goals for Thomas More with an assist.
- Mckenzie Mobley (Harrison, Ohio / Harrison) and Katie Rice (Fort Mitchell, Ky. / Notre Dame Academy) both added goals in the win.
- Senior Cierra Ackerson (Alexandria, Ky. / Campbell County) picked up three ground balls in the effort.
- Senior goalkeeper Kennedy Yurt (Louisville, Ky. / Mercy) secured 10 saves to be named the winning goalie.
- Pat Thatcher earns his first career collegiate win.
The Saints will return to Republic Bank Field on Monday, March 7, when they play host to Webber International at 12 p.m. in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
