Women's Lacrosse Fights Back to Pick up Overtime Win Over Tennessee Wesleyan

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University women's lacrosse team defeated Tennessee Wesleyan on Tuesday (March 29), 17-16 in overtime. The Saints overall record improves to 4-8.

• Sophomore McKenzie Mobley (Harrison, Ohio/Harrison) recorded five shots with three being on goal. 
• Sophomore Dani Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) scored one goal.
• First year Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) tallied four shots and two assists and had two goals.
• First year Eva Kinwel (Arnhem, Netherlands / Beekdal Lyceum) had two shots with one being on goal. 
• Senior Delaney Mederer (Anderson, Ohio/Anderson) recorded one goal and one assist.
• Sophomore Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) put up seven shots with six on goal and had five goals.
• Senior Katie Rice (Ft. Mitchell, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) had 12 shots with seven on goal and had three goals and one assist.
• Junior Faith Smiddy (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) made four goals including the game winner and had nine shots with seven on goal and had one assist. 
• Senior goal keeper Kennedy Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) recorded 10 saves.

The Saints return to the field tomorrow (March 29) against #10 Georgetown at 5:00 pm ET on Republic Bank Field.
