Box Score Painesville, Ohio - The women's lacrosse program at Thomas More took down NCAA Division two opponent Lake Erie College by a score of 12-10 on Friday (March 18) afternoon. With the win the Saints move to 3-5 on the season.
- Sophomore Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) led the team in goals by putting four in the back of the net with four ground balls and two assists.
- Senior Katie Rice (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) notched three goals and added a career high seven ground balls.
- Sophomore Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) put two past the keeper and added three ground balls.
- Senior Kennedy Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) saved 12 shots and added four ground balls.
- Junior Faith Smiddy (West Chester, Ohio / Lakota West) recorded two assists and four ground balls in the win.
- Sophomore Dani Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAulley) picked up four ground balls.
Women's lacrosse return to the pitch on Sunday, March 20 when they play host to Mid-South Conference opponent Marian at 1 p.m. ET on Republic Bank Field.
