Women's Lacrosse Post Impressive Win Over Brenau

Gainesville, Ga. - The women's lacrosse program at Thomas More defeated Brenau by an impressive 18-2 score line. With the win the Saints improve to 2-5 on the year.

• Sophomore Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) led the team in goals with five and picked up with five ground balls.
• Senior Katie Rice (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) had her best game to date posting four goals and three assists.
• Junior Faith Smiddy (West Chester, Ohio / Lakota West) added three goals in the win and had nine shots on goal.
• Sophomore Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) posted a two goal and one assist stat line with three ground balls.
• First-year Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) added two more goals to her impressive first year campaign.
• Mckenzie Mobley (Harrison, Ohio / Harrison) added a goal and an assist in the win.
• First-year Eva Kinwel (Arnhem, Netherlands / Beekdal Lyceum) scored her first career goal in the win.
• Senior keeper Kennedy Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) tallied seven saves in the win.

Lacrosse will return to the pitch tomorrow, March 12 when they wrap up their southern trip against Point at 1 p.m. ET.
