Box Score Crestview Hills, Ky. - The women's lacrosse program at Thomas More got an early lead on receiving votes Aquinas but were unable to keep up with their pace as they fell 19-8. With the loss the Saints fall to 1-5 on the season.
- First-year Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) led the team in goals as the forward scored three goals on five shots.
- Senior Katie Rice (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) scored two goals and had four shots on goal.
- Junior Faith Smiddy (West Chester, Ohio / Lakota West) had a goal and an assist with two ground balls in the effort.
- Sophomore Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) led the team in ground balls with three and also scored a goal.
- Sophomore Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) had two shots on goal with one finding the back of the net.
- Senior goal keeper Kennedy Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) registered 16 saves in the effort.
Lacrosse will have a quick turn around as they will travel to Gainesville, Georgia to take on Brenau University tomorrow, March 11 at 2 p.m. ET.
