Women's Lacrosse Comes up Short to Anderson 15-19

(ANDERSON, Ind.)-Thomas More University women's lacrosse team fell to Anderson on Saturday (Feb. 26), 15-19. The Saints overall record falls to 0-3.

• Junior Faith Smiddy (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) recorded eight shots with seven being on goal and scored five.
• Senior Katie Rice (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) had five shots with four being on goal and scored two and had one assist.
• Sophomore Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) tallied one shot on goal which was a goal and had one assist.
• First year Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) had two shots on goal being goals and had four assists.
• Sophomore Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) recorded six shots on goal with four being goals.
• Sophomore Mckenzie Mobley (Harrison, Ohio/Harrison) had one shot on goal which was a goal.
• Senior goal keeper Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) recorded 13 saves.

The Saints return to the field on March 5 against Lourdes at 10:00 am ET on Republic Bank Field.
