Box Score 2 (Crestview Hills, Ky.) - The softball program at Thomas More fell in both games of their doubleheader against Campbellsville by score of 7-0 and 8-2. With the losses the Saints finish the regular season at 17-26.
Game 1: Campbellsville won 7-0.
- The Tigers scored one in the first, one in the second, two in the fourth and fifth, and one in the seventh.
- Senior Andrea Gahan (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) went two-for-three from the plate with a double.
- Elana Harrison (Mason, Ohio/Mason) was one-for-two while drawing a walk.
- Annika Gels (Eaton, Ohio/Eaton) pitched six innings allowing six runs.
Game 2: Campbellsville wins 8-2.
- The Tigers one run in the first, second, third, and fourth inning, and two in the fifth and sixth.
- The Saints scored their two runs in the bottom of the first as Caitlin Dawson (Georgetown, Ky./Scott County) and Gahan crossed the plate.
- Dawson went one-for-one with a run scored.
- Gahan batted one-for-three with a run scored and drew a walk.
- Taylor Peterson (Wilder, Ky./Campbell County) was one-for-one in the game.
- Kai Dickerson (Walton, Ky./Ryler) hit one-for-two from the plate with an rbi.
- Olivia Jackson (Florence, Ky./Boone County) pitched three innings allowing three runs.
- Hannah Bishop (Union, Ky./Ryle) threw for two innings allowing three runs.
- Emily Wisman (Okeana, Ohio/Harrison) pitched two innings allowing two runs.
Softball will return to the diamond on Friday, April 30, in the opening round of the Mid-South Conference Tournament, where they will play is still to be determined and is likely to be announced by the conference later tonight, or early tomorrow.
