Andrea Nicole Gahan is the daughter of Karen and Tom Gahan…she has one sibling, Sarah(19).
High School Highlights:
Andrea earned three letters at Oak Hills where she played for Jackie Cornelinus-Bedel. In her junior year, she was first team All-Conference, Second Team All-Metro, Most Improved Player, and held the single season homerun record. Her senior year, she was 1st Team All-Conference, held the state record for most homeruns in a single season, Offensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Metro, received the Highlander Award, and was team captain.
First-Year Highlights:
(2017) Played and started in 44 games for the Saints ... led the team at the plate as she batted .449 with 8 home runs, 1 triple, 16 doubles, 38 runs scored and 35 RBI ... Named 1st Team All-PAC and NFCA All-Central Region.
Sophomore Year Highlights:
(2018) Played 48 games for the Saints ... batted .442 with 16 home runs, 2 triples, 14 doubles, 42 runs scored and 53 RBI ... named NFCA All-American.
Junior Highlights:
(2019) Started in all 45 games for the Saints ... had 139 at bats, 46 runs, and 61 hits ... ended the season with a .439 batting average with 14 doubles, 14 homeruns, and 53 RBI's ... had 275 put outs ... Named First Team All-ACAA, First Team All-Central Region, and NFCA All-American.
Senior Highlights:
(2020) Played in all 17 games for the Saints...Recorded a team-high 21 hits in 58 plate appearances with six doubles and two home runs...Tied for the team lead with three stolen bases...Went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, and three runs scored in a 17-14 win over Rio Grande on February 22...Went 3-for-5 with five RBIs, including a walk-off RBI double in extra innings in a 7-6 comeback win over Brenau on February 28...Tied the program career home run record with a blast against Indiana Wesleyan on March 7...Finished the season with a .375 batting average and a .397 on-base percentage with 12 RBIs and nine runs scored...For her career, she ranks first in program history with 40 home runs and 154 RBIs, second in program history with 208 hits and a .432 batting average, third in program history with 50 doubles, and fourth in program history with 135 runs scored.
(2021) Played in 42 games for the Saints...recorded a team high of 51 hits at 155 plate appearances,, with six homeruns, 15 doubles, 11 walks, 35 RBIs, and scored 26 runs...batting average was a .362, on base percentage of .419, and a .596 skugging percentage...recorded 277 putouts and a .990 fielding percentage...was named Mid-South Second Team All-Conference and Golden Glove Winner...She holds the school's all time records for most at bats, hits, doubles, homeruns, RBIs, and runs scored.
