Box Score 2 (Crestview Hills, Ky.) - The softball program at Thomas More dropped both games of their doubleheader against Campbellsville on Friday (April 23). With the losses TMU falls to 17-24 on the season. Andrea Gahan passed Alix Dedreu in game two to become the all-time hits leader for Thomas More softball with 255 career hits.
Game 1: Campbellsville wins 7-3.
- The Tigers scored in six in the first and one in the sixth.
- The Saints scored their first run on the game in the fourth as Hannah Bishop would cross the plate Hailey McAdoo would hit a single towards to second base.
- In the bottom of the seventh Andrea Gahan would score off of a Elana Harrison double, Harrison would then score via a double from Baylee Hobeika to bring the final score to 7-3.
- Harrison went three-for-four from the plate with a double, an rbi, and a run scored.
- McAdoo batted .500 from the plate with two hits, a double and a run batted in.
- Bishop was two-for-three from the batters box with run scored.
- Bishop allowed one run on three hits in four innings pitched.
Game 2: Campbellsville wins 11-2.
- Campbellsville scored three in the third, seven in the fourth, and one in the fifth.
- Harrison would once again drive in a run for the Saints this time scoring McAdoo to give TMU a 1-0 lead after one.
- Caitlin Dawson scored Thomas More's other run as Harrison would hit a sacrifice fly.
- Andrea Gahan collected two hits in three at bats for Thomas More.
- Harrison went one-for-one while driving in two runs.
Softball returns to the diamond on Sunday (April 23) where they will once again take on Campbellsville at Thomas More Field first pitch is set for 1 p.m. ET.
