Women's Lacrosse Fall to #3 Cumberlands For the Second Time This Season

(Crestview Hills, Ky.) - The women's lacrosse program at Thomas More fell to #3 ranked Cumberlands by a score of 20-0. With the loss, TMU drops to 0-4 on the season.

The Patriots had 14 goals in the first half but only scored six in the second.

  • First-year Kendra Yurt recorded five shots on the evening with three of the shots being on goal.
  • Sophomore Madi Carle () registered a team high six ground balls in the game.
  • Junior Kennedy Yurt tallied 11 saves on the night as she had 31 shots fired her way.
  • First-year Mackenzie McWhorter had one shot with it being on frame. 

Women's lacrosse will return to the field on April 7, when they will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana to take on receiving votes Marian, the game is set to start at 5 p.m. ET.
