Lacrosse Falls 28-0 to #3 Cumberlands

(WILLIAMSBURG, Ky.)- Thomas More's women's lacrosse team fell 28-0 to #3 Cumberlands Saturday afternoon (March 27). The Saints overall record falls to 0-3.

• The Patriots scored 15 goals in the first half and scored 13 goals in the second half.

• First-year Kendra Yurt (Lousiville, Ky./Mercy) had two shots on goal.
• Sophomore Claire Combs (Morrow, Ohio/Little Miami) had one shot on goal.
• First-year Avery Story (Louisville, Ky./Atherton) had one shot.
• Junior Kennedy Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) played for 49 minutes and had four saves.
• First Year Josie Darland played 11 minutes and had three saves.

The Saints return to action April 1 at 6:00 pm ET at BB&T Field as they face #3 Cumberlands once again.
