Saints Fall in Season Opener at Asbury 17-0

(ASBURY, Ky.) — The Thomas More women's lacrosse team was shut out, 17-0, in its season opener at Asbury University on Saturday afternoon (February 22, 2020).

• Sophomore Katie Rice (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) had one shot and three ground balls.
• Senior Aleyna Heyman (Beavercreek, Ohio/Beavercreek) tallied one shot and one ground ball.
• Senior Kelly McCord (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) recorded one shot on goal.
• Sophomore Kennedy Yurt (Louisville, Ky./Mercy) played all 60 minutes in goal and made 19 saves. 

• Thomas More will host Waynesburg University tomorrow afternoon (February 23) at 2 p.m. in the Saints' home opener at BB&T Field.
