Softball Wins Two Over Albion to Extend Win Streak to 15

GAME 1

• The Saints went up 6-0 in the first inning, as Andrea Gahan singled up the middle, moving Alix DeDreu to third and scoring Whitney Quillen.
• Kenzi Dickerson doubled to left center field, scoring both Gahan and DeDreu.
• Morgan Wells doubled to right field, scoring Dickerson.
• Sydney Turner grounded out to second base, moving Elana Harrison to second and scoring Wells. 
• Amanda Lloyd doubled to right field, scoring Baylee Hobeika to take a 6-0 lead. 
• In the second inning, Wells got on base from a walk, moving Dickerson to second, Mary Beth Odom to third, and Gahan scored. 
• Harrison singled to third base, moving Wells to second, Taylor Peterson got out at third and scored Odom.
• Lloyd also walked, moving Turner to second, Harrison to third, and scoring Wells. 
• Quillen singled to left field and advanced to second on the throw, moving Lloyd to third and scoring Turner and Harrison to take an 11-0 lead. 
• In the third inning, first-year Adrian Marquez hit a two-run home run over the right-center field, scoring Gahan.

• DeDreu, Dickerson, Wells, and Lloyd all hit a double in the game. 
• Lloyd, Harrison, Wells, Gahan, and Quillen each recorded two hits in the game as Gahan, Lloyd, and Wells went 2-2 at the plate. 
• DeDreu started on the mound for the Saints, facing 15 batters, allowing zero runs and recording five strikeouts in four innings. 
• The Saints had the 14-6 advantage in hits. 

GAME 2

• Centre got on the board in the top of the first inning.
• The Saints answered with a three-run home run from Odom to score Gahan and DeDreu.
• In the third inning, Harrison singled through the right field line, advancing to second on the throw, moving Wells to third, and scoring Odom to take a 4-3 lead. 
• In the fourth inning, Gahan hit a three-run home run over the right field fence, scoring DeDreu and Quillen. 
• Centre took a 10-7 lead in the sixth inning.
• Thomas More answered to take the lead back when DeDreu hit a home run to right center field, scoring Quillen.
• Wells singled to the shortstop, moving Odom to third and scoring Gahan.
• Harrison grounded out into a double play but scored Odom in the process to take the 11-10 lead. 
• Centre added three more and took a 13-11 lead in the seventh.
• DeDreu hit a walk-off grand slam over the right field fence, scoring Quillen, Lloyd, and Hobeika to win 15-13. 

• DeDreu hit her first two home runs of the season, with one being the game-winning grand slam.
• DeDreu led the game with six RBI's, while Gahan and Odom each added three, Harrison recorded two, and Wells ended the game with one. 
• Quillen hit two doubles in the game and Gahan added one. 
• Quillen and DeDreu each recorded four hits in the game, each going 4-5 at the plate.
