Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More College women's lacrosse team fell 19-3 to Augsburg College today (Tuesday, March 14, 2017) on a cold afternoon at BB&T Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
With the loss, the Saints fall to 0-2 and with the win, the Auggies improve to 4-1.
Sophomore Jeni Hall (Lebanon, Ky./Marion County) scored two unassisted goals as she find the back of the net at the 22:45 mark of the first half and the 10:46 mark of the second half. Senior Josie Perrino (Tracey, Calif./St. Mary's) scored with 7:03 to play in the game off an assist by sophomore Jalee Connor (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton).
Sophomore Gillian Casey (Lexington, Ky./Lexington Catholic) suffered the loss in goal as she recorded eight saves in 60 minutes.
Thomas More returns to action on Saturday (March 18) when it travels to Springfield, Ohio to play Wittenberg University at 1 p.m.
