Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More College women's lacrosse team fell, 17-7, to Franklin College today (Sunday, April 24, 2016) in the season finale at BB&T Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
With the loss, the Saints fall to 3-11 overall and 2-6 in the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC), while the Grizzlies improve to 6-6 overall and 4-4 in the ORLC.
The Saints led 6-5 at halftime as junior Tori Liles (Tollesboro, Ky./Lewis County) and junior Josie Perrino (Tracey, Calif./St. Mary's) each scored two goals, while junior Christy Smith (Washington Courthouse, Ohio/Washington) and freshman Jeni Hall (Lebanon, Ky./Marion County) each scored one goal.
Liles scored at the 28:43 mark of the second half to increase the Saints' lead to 7-5. Franklin would score 12-straight goal and win the match 17-7.
Sophomore Mollie Mosley (Cincinnati, Ohio/McAuley) suffered the loss in goal as she played all 60 minutes and gave up 17 goal, while recording five saves.
