(GREENWOOD, Ind.) – The College Sports Communicators announced the 2026 Baseball Academic All-District Teams on Tuesday afternoon. Five members of the Thomas More University's baseball team were recognized: senior
Gunner Kalkhoff (Cincinnati, OH / LaSalle), senior
Jack Perdue (Louisville, KY / Christian Academy), redshirt sophomore
Joe Stone (Waynesville, OH / Waynesville), senior
Kellen Sandhas (Cincinnati, OH / Elder), and junior
Nolan Krekeler (Loveland, OH / Moeller).
To be nominated, the student-athlete must be a sophomore both academically and athletically. They must have competed in 90% of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66% of the games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings. The student athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. Graduate students must have a minimum of a 3.50 for both their graduate program GPA and their undergraduate GPA.
