Biography

Junior Highlights (2025): Started all 46 games for the Saints on the season. Posted a batting average of .312 on 157 at-bats. Recorded 21 runs scored, 49 hits, 5 doubles, 2 home runs, 34 RBIs, 15 walks and 6 stolen bases on the season.

Sophomore Year Highlights (2024): Appeared in 40 games, starting in 38 this season for the Saints. Tallied a Batting Average of .2338 through 130 At Bats. Recorded 31 Hits, 4 Doubles, 23 Runs, 13 RBIs, and 15 Walks. Defensively, he tallied 244 Put Outs and 13 Assists. Recorded a season high 3 Hits in the 13-0 victory over Davis & Elkins on March 5th. Earned CSC Academic All-District honors.

First Year Highlights (2023): Appeared in 22 games, making 4 starts for the Saints. Recorded a batting average of .452 with 14 hits, 8 runs scored, 7 RBIs, and 4 walks on the season. 

High School Highlights: Kalkhoff attended LaSalle where he was coached by Roosevelt Barnes. He earned First Team All-Conference in the GCL, and First Team All-City honors.

Personal: Gunner Kalkhoff is the son of Dana and Heinz Kalkhoff. He has two siblings named Heinz and Paige.
