Baseball Falls to Tiffin in Game Two

Box Score (FLORENCE, Ky.)-Thomas More University's baseball team fell to Tiffin on Saturday (March 7), 9-1. The Saints overall record falls to 6-4.

• Tiffin scored four runs in the first, one run in the third, and three runs in the fourth inning (8-0).
• In the bottom of the fifth inning, first year Theodore Bosio (Grand Rapids, Mich./Forest Hills Northern) singled through the right side to score senior Gunner Kalkhoff (Cincinnati, Ohio/LaSalle) to make it a 8-1 game. 
• Tifin scored one run in the sixth (9-1).

• Theodore Bosio 2-4 at the plate with one RBI.
• First year Ian Mann (Newport, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) went 1-2.
• Gunner Kalkhoff was 1-2 and scored one run.

• Senior Kellen Sandhas (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) pitched 3.2 innings, allowing eight earned runs off 10 hits and struck out one.
• First year Keeton Bach (Augusta, Ky./Augusta) pitched 1.2 innings, allowing one earned run off three hits.
• First year Chase Maggard (Hamilton, Ohio/Badin) pitched 1.2 innings, allowing no runs off two hits and struck out two.
• First year Will Harrison (Nicholasville, Ky./East Jessamine) pitched 2.0 innings, allowing no runs and not hits and struck out one.

The Saints return tomorrow (March 8) for the final game of the series against Tiffin beginning at 1:00 pm ET at Thomas More Stadium.
