(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced the 2025 volleyball coaches preseason poll this afternoon (August, 21st) and the Thomas More Saints were picked to finish third in the south division with 27 points.
This marks 6th season for head coach
Holly Bronner Stiver. Under her tenure the Saints are 69-71, and are coming off an 11-17 2024 campaign.
The Great Midwest Athletic Conference is broken down into three divisions for volleyball. The North Division consists of Findlay, who was picked to win the north with 10 first place votes and 46 points, followed by Hillsdale (2nd), Northwood (3rd), and Tiffin to round out the north.
The South Division has Cedarville picked first with 10 first place votes and 47 points. Ohio Dominican sits in second with three first place votes and 39 points. Thomas More sits in third, and Kentucky Wesleyan is in fourth.
The East Division has Ashland picked to win with seven first place votes and 55 points. Walsh is closely behind with five first place votes and 54 points. Lake Erie picked up a first place vote and was picked third with 36 points. Malone (4th) and Ursuline (5th) round out the division.
Thomas More women's volleyball opens the season on Friday (September, 5th) when they travel to Indianapolis to compete in the UINDY Invitational. Their first game is against West Virginia State at 11:00 AM.
