Saints Drop to Tiffin on Friday Night

(Crestview Hills, KY) - The Thomas More women's volleyball team faced off against Tiffin University on Friday (November 15) for the Saints second to last conference match-up.  Tiffin defeated the Saints in three sets as the Saints are now 5-9 in conference and 11-16 overall.

• Tiffin won the opening set 25 to 21.
• Tiffin won the second set 25 to 6.
• Tiffin won the third set 25 to 21.

 

• Senior Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada) received her 2,000th dig honors at tonight's match.
• Junior Emily Acito (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy McAuley) and Senior Sydney Hilderbran (Bowling Green, OH/Lakota West) both led the Saints in kills with 7 a piece.
• Freshman Audrey Warrick (Linton, IN/Linton Stockton) led the Saints in assists with 21.
• Junior Matilde Giamberini (Gornate Olona, Italy/Liceo Curie) led in service aces with 2.
• Junior Matilde Giamberini (Gornate Olona, Italy/Liceo Curie) and Junior Emily Acito (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy McAuley) blocks with 1 each.
• Junior Emily Acito (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy McAuley), Senior Ruthie Neu (Greenwood, IN/Roncalli), and Senior Bella Akers (Cincinnati, OH/Miami Valley Christian Academy) all led in digs with 8 each.

 

• The Thomas More women's volleyball team returns to play on Saturday (November 16) against Findlay University for Senior Day.  The match is set for 1:00 PM.
