(ASHLAND, OH.) – The Saints returned to the Niss Athletic Center on the campus of Ashland University for the 2025 Great Midwest Indoor Track and Field Championships. The team saw many improvements and achieved several personal-best marks, with Nick Lanter earning a new school record in the 3000-meter run.
- Senior Nick Lanter (Cincinnati, OH./La Salle) ran 3000 meters in 8:50, earning 22nd place, and was followed closely by First-Year Noah Miller (Union, KY./Cooper) (8:55) and Sophomore Carter Engle (Independence, KY./Holy Cross) (9:16). Nick's time broke the school record.
- The men's 4000-meter Distance Medley Relay team, composed of Andrew Witherington, Jude Theriot, Dawson Benjamin, and Noah Miller finished the race in 10:41, earning 9th place.
- First-Year Jordan Houston (Cincinnati, OH./Princeton) earned 17th place for the Saints, hurdling 60 meters in 8.80 seconds.
- Sophomore Carson Oldham (Flemingsburg, KY./Fleming County High School) placed 24th in the Weight Throw event, clearing the 14.11 meter mark.
- First-Year Keegan Mehr (Brookville, OH./Brookville) was awarded 15th place for his high jump performance, clearing 1.80 m.
- The 4x400 team of Elliott Warner, Keegan Mehr, Dawson Benjamin and Andrew Witherington earned tenth place with a time of 3:30.32.
The Saints will return to the track on Saturday, March 22nd at Transylvania University for their first outdoor meet of the 2025 season.
