(TIFFIN, OH.) – Thomas More University men's track and field team competed at the Tiffin University Open on Saturday, January 25th. The Saints traveled up to northern Ohio to compete against the likes of a conference opponent and other talented track teams.
- First Year Noah Miller (Union, KY./Cooper) led the Saints distance team with a 2nd and 5th place finish in the 3000 m and one mile races, respectively. Noah crossed the line with times of 9:28.24 and 4:35.76.
- Senior Nick Lanter (Cincinnati, OH./La Salle) placed 6th in the 3000 m run with a time of 9:37.06, while also running a mile in 4:42 to earn 6th place.
- Sophomore Marcus Johnson (Cincinnati, OH./West Clermont/Hocking) placed 9th in the 200 m dash with a time of 23.68.
- Senior Gregory Woodard (Fishersville, VA./Wilson Memorial/Mary Baldwin) placed 10th in the 200 m dash with a time of 24.15.
- First-years Keegan Mehr (Brookville, OH./Brookville), Andrew Witherington (Lexington, KY./Tates Creek) placed 13th and 12th with times of 24.81 and 24.62 respectively.
- Junior Elliot Warner (Campbell County, KY./Campbell County/Mount St. Joseph, Louisville) placed 17th with a time of 25.09.
- All the Saints competing in the weight throw achieved a new Personal Best today, including Xavier Campbell, Carson Oldham, and Mike Weller. Carson Oldham placed 10th, clearing a distance with a new PR of 13.63 m.

After a strong start to the official indoor season, the team looks ahead to their next meet at Wittenberg on Saturday, February 1st.
