(MIDWAY, Ky.) – The Thomas More University softball team split their doubleheader with the Midway University Eagles Tuesday afternoon on the road, losing game one 7-6 and bouncing back with an 8-1 win in game two. The Saints are now 7-3 this season.

  • Thomas More took a 4-3 lead in the fifth.
  • Two Saints hit singles to put runners at first and second before McAdoo blasted her first homerun this season to left-center field to give Thomas More the lead.
  • The Saints took advantage of Eagles' mistakes in the sixth to score a pair of insurance runs (6-3) heading into the bottom of the inning.
