Biography

Junior Highlights (2025): Appeared in 26 games and made 17 starts for the Saints. Recorded a batting average of .315 on the season across 54 at-bats. Tallied 4 runs scored, 17 hits, a double, 8 RBIs, 2 walks, and three stolen bases on the year.

Sophomore Year Highlights (2024): Appeared in 38 games, starting in 35 this season for the Saints. Tallied a .158 Batting Average through 95 At Bats. Recorded 15 Hits, 3 Runs, 5 RBIs, and 7 Walks. Defensively she tallied 53 Put Outs and finished with a fielding percentage of 1.000%. Recorded a season high 3 Hits against Mary on March 4th. 

First Year Highlights (2023): Started in all 46 games for the Saints. Recorded a batting average of .317 along with 19 runs scored, 44 hits, 11 doubles, a triple, 24 RBIs, and 12 walks. Recorded a season high 4 RBIs in the February 10th victory over Union.

High School Highlights: Thoma attended Taylor where she was coached by Craig Linneman. She earned Scholar Athlete award three times, as well as First Team All-League honors three times.She set program records for Career Runs with 138, and Career Hits with 152.

Personal: Sophia Thoma is the daughter of Vince and Erin Thoma. She has two siblings, Liliana and Dominic.
