Softball Has Season End in Mid-South Opening Round to #15 Lindsey Wilson

Columbia, Ky. - The softball program at Thomas More fell to the 15th ranked Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson by a score of 2-0 in the second game of the Mid-South Conference Opening Round. With the loss the Saints end their season with a 17-29 record.

• Lindsey Wilson hit two home runs in the bottom of the second to score the only two runs of the game.

• Graduate Valerie Hudepohl (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) collected one hit in four plate appearances.
• Junior Caitlin Dawson (Georgetown, Ky./Scott County) went one-for-three at the plate.
• Senior Elana Harrison (Mason, Ohio/Mason) added one hit in three plate appearances.
• Senior Lauren Taylor (Reading, Ohio/Mount Notre Dame) nothced a hit in three trips to the plate.
• Junior Hannah Bishop (Union, Ky./Ryle) collected a double in three at bats.

• Junior pitcher Annika Gels (Eaton, Ohio/Eaton) threw six innings allowing two runs on four hits.

Softball concludes their 2022 campaign and will return in the Spring of 2023 with a schedule to be released later in the Fall of 2022.
