Noah Pack Helps Lead the Way for #1 Men's Basketball Over #24 Cumberland (Tenn.)

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-#1 Thomas More University men's basketball team defeated #24 Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon (December 3), 70-63. The Saints overall record improves to 8-0 and 5-0 in conference.

• Redshirt junior Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) started the scoring off for the Saints, draining a 3-point basket with 17:21 to play in the first half (3-6).
• With 13:30 to play in the first, sophomore Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) made a jump shot to put the Saints within one (12-13).
• Sophomore Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) would drive to the rim for a layup to tie the game up at 20-20 with 9:23 to play in the first half.
• Reid Jolly made a jump shot for the final basket of the first half to put the Saints down by one going into the locker room at the half (31-32).
• Reid Jolly led the Saints with seven points and had three rebounds.
• Redshirt junior Noah Pack (Georgetown, Ohio/Georgetown) also led the team with nine points and had four rebounds to lead the team defensively as well in the first half. 
• Jacob Jones led the team with three assists.
• Casey George recorded seven points, two rebounds, and one assist.
• The saints were 38.2% (13-24) from the field, 30% (3-10) from the 3-point line, and 100% (2-2) from the free throw line.

• Noah Pack knocked in two free throws to start the scoring off for the Saints in the second half with 17:00 to play to make it a 33-39 game.
• Noah Pack would drain in back to back 3-point shots to help the Saints regain the lead with 13:34 to play to put the team up 41-40.
• Reid Jolly made a 3-point basket to give the Saints the lead with 7:03 to play in the game (56-53).
• Jacob Jones made one free throw with 13 seconds left to secure the Saints win over the Phoenix (70-63).
• Noah Pack led the team with 22 points and six rebounds in the second half and had one assist.
• Jacob Jones tallied eight points and one rebound and led the team with two assists.
• Reid Jolly also led the team with two assists and had five rebounds and six points. 
• The Saints were 57.1% (12-21) from the field, 50% (5-10) from the 3-point line, and 62.5% (10-16) from the free throw line in the second half.

• Noah Pack led the Saints with his second career double double and a career high with 31 points and 10 rebounds and tallied one assist and a block.
• Reid Jolly followed behind with 15 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.
• Jacob Jones led the way with five assists for a team high and had 10 points and one rebound.
• Casey George had 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
• The Saints were 45.5% (25-55) from the field, 40%(8-20) from the 3-point line, and 66.7% (12-18) from the free throw line.

The Saints return to action on Thursday (December 8) against UPike in the Connor Convocation Center at 7:30 pm ET.
