Noah Pack Helps Lead the Way for #1 Men's Basketball Over #24 Cumberland (Tenn.)

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-#1 Thomas More University men's basketball team defeated #24 Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon (December 3), 70-63. The Saints overall record improves to 8-0 and 5-0 in conference.

  • Redshirt junior Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) started the scoring off for the Saints, draining a 3-point basket with 17:21 to play in the first half (3-6).
  • With 13:30 to play in the first, sophomore Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) made a jump shot to put the Saints within one (12-13).
  • Sophomore Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) would drive to the rim for a layup to tie the game up at 20-20 with 9:23 to play in the first half.
  • Reid Jolly made a jump shot for the final basket of the first half to put the Saints down by one going into the locker room at the half (31-32).
