#1 Men's Basketball Secure 66-52 Win Over Pikeville

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-#1 Thomas More University men's basketball team defeated Pikeville 66-52 on Thursday evening (December 8). The Saints overall record improves to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in conference.

• Redshirt junior Noah Pack (Georgetown, Ohio/Georgetown) made a jump shot for the Saints first basket of the game with 18:02 on the clock to put the team within one (2-3).
• Redshirt junior Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) drained a 3-point basket to make it a 6-3 game with 15:59 to play in the first half.
• With 6:01 to play in the first half, redshirt first year Derek Eddings (Cincinnati, Ohio/La Salle) drove to the rim for a layup to extend the Saints lead to 26-12.
• Sophomore Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) made a jump shot for the Saints finals basket of the half to give the team a 35-24 lead going into the locker rook at the half.
• Jacob Jones led the Saints with 11 points and one assist in the first half.
• Noah Pack followed with eight points and led the team defensively with three rebounds.
• Sophomore Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) also led the team in the first half with three rebounds. 
• Reid Jolly recorded six points and two rebounds.
• The Saints were 48.4% (15-31) from the field, 14.3% (1-7) from the 3-point line, and 66.7% (4-6) from the free throw line in the first half.

• Noah Pack drove to the rim for a layup for the Saints first basket of the second half to make it a 37-26 game with 19:22 to play.
• Casey George made a layup with 13:24 to play, to give the Saints a 39-36 lead.
• With 6:29 to play in the game, Reid Jolly would knock in a layup to extend the Saints lead to 57-47.
• Casey George drained a 3-point basket to give the Saints a 64-47 lead with 4:16 to play.
• Redshirt sophomore Jalen Scott (Hebron, Ky./Conner) made the Saints final basket with a layup to secure the Saints 66-52 win over the Bears.
• Casey George led the Saints in the second half with 13 points.
• Reid Jolly followed with nine points and four rebounds.
• Noah Pack led the Saints defensively in the second half with five rebounds and had four points and one assist.
• Jacob Jones recorded three assists to lead the team.
• The Saints wree 41.9% (13-31) from the field, 33.3% (4-12) from the 3-point line, and 100% (1-1) from the free throw line in the second half.

• Reid Jolly led the team with 15 points and had six rebounds one assist and two blocks.
• Casey George also led the Saints with 15 points and had three rebounds.
• Noah Pack recorded eight rebounds to lead the team and had 12 points, one assist, and two blocks.
• Jacob Jones tallied four assists to lead to Saints and had 11 points and three rebounds.
• The Saints were 45.2% (28-62) from the field, 26.3% (5-19) from the 3-point line, and 71.4% (5-7) from the free throw line. 

The Saints return to the court on Saturday (December 10) against Shawnee State in Portsmouth, Ohio at 3:00 pm ET.
