#1 Men's Basketball Secure 66-52 Win Over Pikeville

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-#1 Thomas More University men's basketball team defeated Pikeville 66-52 on Thursday evening (December 8). The Saints overall record improves to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in conference.0
  • Redshirt junior Noah Pack (Georgetown, Ohio/Georgetown) made a jump shot for the Saints first basket of the game with 18:02 on the clock to put the team within one (2-3).
  • Redshirt junior Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) drained a 3-point basket to make it a 6-3 game with 15:59 to play in the first half.
  • With 6:01 to play in the first half, redshirt first year Derek Eddings (Cincinnati, Ohio/La Salle) drove to the rim for a layup to extend the Saints lead to 26-12.
  • Sophomore Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) made a jump shot for the Saints finals basket of the half to give the team a 35-24 lead going into the locker rook at the half.
  • Jacob Jones led the Saints with 11 points and one assist in the first half.
  • Noah Pack followed with eight points and led the team defensively with three rebounds.
  • Sophomore Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) also led the team in the first half with three rebounds.
