Box Score 2 (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)- Thomas More's softball team fall in double header against Rio Grande with the scores of 6-3 in game 1 and 12-3 in game 2. The Saints overall record falls to 17-22.
Game 1: Rio Grande 6-3
- Rio Grande scored two runs in the 1st inning and one run in the 3rd inning (0-3).
- To start the bottom of the 4th inning off, junior designated player Elana Harrison's (Mason, Ohio/Mason) homered a solo homerun over the centerfield fence pn a 2-2 count to put the Saints on the board (3-1). Sophomore designated hitter Becca Mowen would hit a RBI single up the middle to score junior catcher Adrian Marquez (Rushville, Ind./Rushville Consolidated) and junior center-fielder Baylee Hobeika (Colerain, Ohio/Colerain) to tie the game up at 3-3.
- Rio scored three runs in the 7th inning (3-6).
Game 2:
- Rio scored two runs in the 1st inning (0-2).
- Hobeika hit a solo homerun over the center field fence to put the Saints on the board to make it a 2-1 game in the bottom of the 2nd inning.
- Rio scored four runs in the 3rd (1-6).
- In the 3rd inning, Harrison hit a sac fly to left to score sophomore second baseman Caitlin Dawson (Georgetown, Ky./Scott County) (2-6).
- Rio scored one run (2-7).
- Sophomore shortstop Hailey McAdoo (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) scored off a wild pitch (3-7).
- Rio scored one run in the 6th (3-8) and four runs in the 7th (3-12).

- First-year pitcher Lindsay Dawson (Georgetown, Ky./Greay Crossing) pitched 2.2 innings, allowing five earned runs off six hits.
