Box Score (PIKEVILLE, Ky.) – The Thomas More University baseball earned an extra inning win today (Friday, March 26, 2021) as it defeated the University of Pikeville, 6-4, in 11 innings in Mid-South Conference game.
- Thomas More led 4-2 after four innings as it scored one in the first, one in the second and two in the fourth, while the Bears plated two runs in the second.
- Pikeville scored one in the seventh and one in the ninth to force extra innings.
- In the 11th inning, first-year right fielder Brady Baldock (Burlington, Ky./St. Henry) scored on a single by sophomore second baseman Bailey Martin (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) and sophomore first baseman Derek Atwood (Burlington, Ky./Conner) scored on a fielder's choice by senior left fielder Brady Reynolds (White Oak, Ohio/LaSalle) for the 6-4 win.
