Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) — First-year forward Reid Jolly became just the sixth Thomas More University men's basketball player since 1990 to score at least 30 points in a game, finishing with 31 points in only 25 minutes of action to lead the Saints to an 84-54 win over the University of Akron-Wayne in the final game of the Coach Connor Classic at the Connor Convocation Center on Saturday afternoon (November 23, 2019).
- Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) scored six points in the first four minutes of the game as Thomas More raced out to an early 10-0 lead with 16:07 left in the first half.
- Jolly scored the Saints' next 12 points as Thomas More extended their lead to 22-6 with 10:32 remaining in the half. Jolly scored 18 points in the game's first 10 minutes.
- Luke Rudy (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) made a layup with 11 seconds left in the half to give the Saints a 50-25 lead heading into the break.
- Thomas More shot 19-31 (61.3%) from the field in the first half and made 5-11 three-pointers (45.5%)
