Women's Tennis Drops to Walsh on the Road

Box Score (NORTH CANTON, Ohio)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team fell to Walsh on Saturday (March 21), 6-1. The Saints overall record falls to 6-5 and 0-1 in conference.

• Senior Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and first year Bella Flores (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe) fell to Taira Abildayeva and Olesya Ivaschuck 6-3.
• First year Ella Cason (Owensboro, Ky./Owensboro Catholic) and sophomore Hallie Lathram (Nicholasville, Ky./Lexington) came up short to Aleksandra Chmir and Lina Starke 6-0.
• First year Sadie Jones (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Beechwood) and sophomore Lindsey Greb (Butler, Pa./ Knoch) were defeated 6-1 to Liv-Grete Laarmann and Eliza Verstappen.

• Alexis Covington fell Lina Starke 7-6 and 7-6.
• Ella Cason was defeated by Taira Abildayeva 6-2 and 6-3.
• Bella Flores defeated Aleksandra Chmir 6-4 and 6-2.
• Hallie Lathram fell 6-2 and 6-2 to Eliza Verstappen.
• Saide Jones was defeated 6-0 and 6-1 to Olesya Ivashachuck.
• Sophomore Nicole Bauer (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecanoe) fell 6-3 and 6-2 to Live-Grete Laarmann.

The Saints return tomorrow against Ursuline at 2:30 pm ET.
