Saints fall to the Yellow Jackets

(CEDARVILLE, OH) – The Thomas More University women's tennis team was defeated by Cedarville on Wednesday (April 15) by a score of 0-4. The Saints fall to 8-10 overall and 2-6 within the conference.
 

• Senior Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, OH / Walnut Hills) and freshman Bella Flores (Chillicothe, OH / Chillicothe) defeated Delia Guzic and Paula Curci Micieli by a score of 7-5.
• Freshman Ella Cason (Owensboro, KY / Owensboro Catholic) and sophomore Hallie Lathram (Nicholasville, KY / Lexington Catholic) were defeated by Mariana Philipps and Susu Prince by a score of 2-6.
• Freshman Sadie Jones (Fort Mitchell, KY / Beechwood) and sophomore Lindsey Greb (Butler, PA / Knoch / Saint Francis University) fell 3-6 to Faith Monson and Grace Mahek.

 

• Alexis Covington fell to Diana Ivanikhina 3-6 and 1-6.
• Hallie Lathram was defeated by Paula Curci Micieli 3-6 an 1-6.
• Sophomore Nicole Bauer (Tipp City, OH / Tippecanoe) fell 1-6 and 0-6 to Faith Monson.

 

The Saints will conclude the regular season and celebrate Senior Day on Saturday (April 18) as they host Ashland. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
