Softball Drops to Ferris State & MSU Mankato

(Viera, Florida)- The Thomas More University softball team fell to Ferris State (2-1) and Minnesota State Mankato (4-2) on Thursday (March 12). The Saints overall record falls to 7-10.

How they scored
Thomas More fell 2-1 to Ferris State

  • Sophomore Haylee Palmer (Lawrenceburg, Ind./Lawrenceburg) homered to left field for the Saints only run of the game 

Thomas More fell 4-2 to MSU Mankato

  • In the first inning First Year Brooklynn Couch (Lawrenceburg, Ind./Lawrenceburg) singled through the right side to score Senior Ashtyn Elbe (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) putting the Saints ahead with a 1-0 score.
  • In the third inning First Year Madi Hall (Gahana, Ohio/Lincoln) singled through the left side, Sophomore Haylee Palmer (Lawrenceburg, Ind./Lawrenceburg) advanced to second and Brooklynn Couch scored to make the score 2-3.
