(Viera, Florida)- The Thomas More University softball team fell to Ferris State (2-1) and Minnesota State Mankato (4-2) on Thursday (March 12). The Saints overall record falls to 7-10.

Thomas More fell 2-1 to Ferris State
- Sophomore Haylee Palmer (Lawrenceburg, Ind./Lawrenceburg) homered to left field for the Saints only run of the gameÂ
Thomas More fell 4-2 to MSU Mankato
- In the first inning First Year Brooklynn Couch (Lawrenceburg, Ind./Lawrenceburg) singled through the right side to score Senior Ashtyn Elbe (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) putting the Saints ahead with a 1-0 score.
- In the third inning First Year Madi Hall (Gahana, Ohio/Lincoln) singled through the left side, Sophomore Haylee Palmer (Lawrenceburg, Ind./Lawrenceburg) advanced to second and Brooklynn Couch scored to make the score 2-3.

- Alisha Fox pitched 7.0 innings allowing 2 earned runs on 5 hits, 1 walk and striking out 4.
Game two:
- Junior Kylie Ropp (Bellefontaine, Ohio/Kenton Ridge) pitched 6.0 innings with allowing 4 earned runs on 8 hits, 2 walks and 4 strikeouts.

The Thomas More Saints softball team will be back in action tomorrow, March 13th for the fifth and final day at the Spring Coast Games.
