Saints Split in final day of Lincoln Memorial Tournament

(Harrogate, Tenn.) - The Thomas More Saints softball team won 4-2 against Bloomsburg University to start off before they fell to host Lincoln Memorial 13-7. The Saints overall record improves to 4-6.

Game 1: Thomas More 4 – Bloomsburg 2
  • In the bottom of the second inning First Year Alisha Fox (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mason) tripled for First Year Brooklynn Couch (Lawrenceburg, Ind./Lawrenceburg) to score putting the Saints up 1-0.
  • First Year Kendyl Feutz (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington North) doubled to score Alisha Fox putting the Saints up 2-0.
  • In the bottom of the third inning Brooklynn Couch singled to score Sophomore Haylee Palmer (Lawrenceburg, Ind./Lawrenceburg) increasing the Saints lead to 3-0.
  • In the bottom of the fifth inning Alisha Fox singled to score Haylee Palmer putting the Saints up to 4-2.
