Women's Tennis Falls Short to UIS

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team fell to UIS on Friday (Feb 6), 4-3.

• Senior Alex Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and sophomore Hallie Lathram (Nicholasville, Ky./Lexington) fell 6-2 to Ema Norma Bordean and Nimah Grogan.
• First year Ella Cason (Owensboro, Ky./Owensboro Catholic) and first year Bella Flores (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe) defeated Maria Garcia Gama and Alisha Deogaonkar 6-2.
• Sophomore Nicole Bauer (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecanoe) and first year Sadie Jones (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Beechwood) were defeated 6-2 to Jane Carter and Cristina Mendoza Romero 6-2.

• Alexis Covington fell to Ema Norma Bordean 2-6, 7-6, and 3-6.
• Ella Cason came up short to Cristina Romero Mendoza 6-3 and 6-3.
• Bella Flores won 6-1 and 7-5 over Nimah Grogan.
• Hallie Lathram defeated Alisha Deogaonkar 2-6, 6-1, and 6-2.
• Sadie Jones fell 2-6 and 2-6 to Jane Carter.
• Nicole Bauer won 6-2 and 6-4 over Maria Gama Garcia.

The Saints return tomorrow (Feb 7) against Hanover at Five Seasons beginning at 6:00 pm ET.
