Women's Tennis Picks up Win Over Midway

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team defeated Midway on Friday (Feb 13), 7-0. The Saints overall record improves to 2-2.

• Senior Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and sophomore Hallie Lathram (Nicholasville, Ky./Lexington) defeated Alicia Sanglas and Emma Pheiffer 6-3.
• First year Ella Cason (Owensboro, Ky./Owensboro Catholic) and first year Bella Flores (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe) won 6-0 over Tanit Cevada Cruz and Raigan Allbert.
• First year Sadie Jones (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Beechwood) and sophomore Lindsey Greb (Butler, Pa./ Knoch) swept Haley Thompson and Caitlin Wright 6-0.

• Ella Cason won 6-1 and 7-5 over Emma Pheiffer.
• Bella Flores took down Tanit Cevada Cruz 6-2 and 6-2.
• Hallie Lathram won 6-2 and 6-1 over Raigan Allbert.
• Sadie Jones defeated Haley Thompson 6-0 and 6-1.
• Sophomore Nicole Bauer (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecanoe) beat Caitlin Wright 6-0 and 6-2.

The Saints return tomorrow (Feb 14) against Shawnee State beginning at 4:00 pm ET.
